Penang II Urban Landscapes
Streetware II identified the necessity to look at projects located at the edge of UNESCO site’s buffer zone where a contrast of urban spaces and architectural typologies coexist. The redesign of the tangible urban bodies should allow for the intangible elements of George Town to flourish naturally and fill the reorganized spaces with the character of the place.
